I Will Never Apologize To Bullet Because I Never Offended Him – Kelvyn Boy Reveals

Afrobeat singer, Kelvyn Boy, has said that he will never  apologize for comments deemed “harsh” about Wendy Shay and her manager Bullet, formerly of Ruff N Smooth.

The artiste, born Kelvin Brown, earlier stated that he would not beef someone who could not write her own songs. He also claimed Bullet’s songwriting skills were stale.

He was accused of trying to start a beef with Wendy Shay when he snubbed her at the Shatta-Stone peace press conference.

Many of his and Wendy’s fans on social media had called for an apology, calling him arrogant for ignoring Wendy publicly.

But in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Friday, Kelvyn Boy said he was being honest and does not owe anyone an apology.

According to him, when he was accused of snubbing Wendy Shay, he called Bullet to explain his side of the story because he believed bloggers would spin the story to suit them.

If something has happened you cannot just post on social media that I am beefing your artiste because of an award. I am like you that you are writing for her, your vibe is dead so I will write for you to give to her. Your song no dey pass my ‘Odo’ (song),” he told Andy Dosty, host of the show.

Kelvyn Boy explained contrary to Bullet’s assertions, he is not jealous if Wendy Shay or her award as ‘Best New Artiste of the Year’.

The ‘Mea’ hitmaker stated the award given to Wendy Shay has not dampened his spirits neither does it assure her of success in the future.

There are artistes who have won awards and have been coming to me for features, life is like that,” he added.

Kelvyn Boy told Andy Dosty he is disappointed in the actions of Bullet as a manager, “I would never apologize to him.”

Kelvyn Boy has a new EP out titled ‘T.I.M.E’.
