‘It’s A Sin For A Gospel Musician To Collaborate With Sarkodie, Shatta Wale And The Rest

Gospel musician, Bra Paul has resurrected an age long debate about whether it’s appropriate for gospel musicians to feature secular musicians on their songs.

Already, the likes of Lady Prempeh, Herty Borngreat, Gifty Osei and Nacee have all joined forces with their counterparts from the other divide to produce good songs.

But Bra Paul is not having any of that. According him, there’s no common factor that binds these people together and hence, does not know why his colleagues go ahead to feature secular musicians for commercial gains.

He said:

I don’t mean to be judgemental but let’s call a spade a spade , there’s no similarity in the mission of a secular artiste and a Gospel artiste and a Gospel artiste so how relevant will a collaboration be?

As far as I’m concerned, this dude is not popular so he just wants to blurt out something to trend a bit. What he said does not make sense to me.

Does he want to tell us that he has never danced or listened to any secular song before?
