Do you always like to go to bed in socks? If you are in that category, then you are lucky as it turns out that wearing socks in bed is good for you -and could even lead to great better sekz.

Warming your feet causes the blood vessels to dilate, which gives the brain a signal that it’s time to sleep. There is a link between the dilation of extremities – also known as vasodilation – and how quickly you fall asleep.

Assisting the dilation of the blood vessels in your feet can help you drop off faster.

Not only do socks in bed help your sleep, they could also help your s**** life.

A University of Groningen study found that, when provided with socks to wear, brain scans showed 80 per cent of couples were able to reach o*g***, compared to just 50% who could climax without socks.

A word of warning though: don’t be tempted just to leave on the socks you’ve been wearing all day to bring on the soporific effect once you go to bed.

If you wear socks too long, bacteria can build up in and lead to fungal infections, and fungal infections have never been a turn-on for anyone.
