11 people have reportedly been arrested after last week’s famous Nima Police Station burglary. The news about unknown thieves who allegedly broke into the Orderly Room at the police command on Thursday, and stole a number of items including a 32-inch television set and a computer monitor has been trending online.
The ‘operation’ of the thieves was carried out at dawn and was discovered by the police officers around 6:00 am. The suspected thieves removed an airconditioner fitted into one of the windows to the office and passed through the space to gain access to the office.
Based on intelligence and investigations, the Nima Divisional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abraham Acquaye has told the Daily Graphic in an interview that 11 persons have been rounded up pending further investigations.
