If you could remember, Teephlow not long ago took to social media specifically Twitter and put forth a list of hottest Hip-Hop emcees in Ghana but excluded his rival, Strongman. Well, the battle for supremacy between Strongman and Teephlow still unfold taking into consideration how the aforementioned artistes reacted to their nomination(s) in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs). As a reminder, right after the release of the 2018 VGMAs nominees list, Strongman jabbed his boss, Sarkodie and the entire SarkNation for not pushing harder to influence his nomination.

In a tweet, Strongman questioned the influence of his label boss, Sarkodie for his failure to make the needed movement behind the scenes to help him secure more nominations. Thus, Strongman expected more and felt Sarkodie’s influence in his career could have engineered a significant difference compared to the single nomination at the 2018 VGMAs.

However, it’ll interest you to know that Strongman’s reaction to his VGMAs nomination comes as a result of the unending fight for supremacy between Teephlow and himself. This is because, his greatest competitor had three (3) nominations in three different categories. Namely, Hip-Hop Song of The Year, Record of The Year and Best Rapper of The Year. Meanwhile, Strongman who claims to be better off when it comes to Hip-Hop in Ghana cannot be traced in the 2018 VGMAs Hip-Hop Song of The Year category.

Now, Teephlow has an extended play (EP) or better still an album to his credit dubbed, “Phlowducation“, meanwhile Strongman can’t boast of any. Strongman for almost a year under SarkCess Music do have only four songs to his credit (Transformer, Odasani, Charcoal & Baby Girl). With this, it’s obvious Teephlow’s level in Ghana music has elevated tremendously comparably to the SarkCess Music signed act with other things being equal (ceteris paribus).
