2019 BET Nominations: Mr. Eazi, Burna Boy, AKA Grab A Spot In ‘Best International Act’ Category; Shatta Wale Missing After His Infamous ‘ BET Email’

BET has announced the full list of nominees for the 2019 BET Awards and just like it happened in 2018, no Ghanaian artiste made it in their Best International act category.

Unlike previous years, where there was a sole category for African acts, the 2018 BET Awards merged the African Act of the year together with other Best UK Act and that of France.

This gave an opportunity for Davido who won in 2018 after the merge to pick his award on the main BET stage instead of backstage like they’ve done in previous years.

Well, now the full list of nominees for the 2019 BET Awards is here with us and our friend Shatta Wale, who tweeted about receiving an email from BET last year is nowhere to be found in the list– We guess he was been sarcastic or perhaps, he didn’t make it after shortlisting.

It seems the Nigerians are still winning as two of their artistes, Mr. Eazi and Burna Boy made it in the category.

AKA from South Africa also got a spot in there.  Then one other musician from France and two from the UK.

Teni

Nigeria’s Teni (I slap police for your case) also made it in the ‘Best New International Category’.
