[dropcap]F[/dropcap]inally the makers of the most successful movie in 2015, “Kalybos In China” have finished works on their new movie which is been rumored to break cinema records this year again because of the characters that have been used in the movie and the fascinating story line the movie follows.
Come to think of it, it’s been years since we last saw Majid in a Ghanaian movie and everyone is dying to see him in a Ghanaian movie. He mentioned sometime ago that, he makes more of Nigerian movies because he does not receive any calls from producers to feature in any movie.

Now the new movie, Amakye & Dede is replete with lots of incredible acts and what makes this new comic movie which will be premiering this month worth buying a ticket to go see is the humorous nature of the movie. It’s one hell of a romantic wahala!
Majid and Kalybos have been friends since childhood and do almost everything together. Their relationship is an affable one one but then, a woman played by Ahoufe Patri threatens this friendship as both Majid and Kalybos fall in love with her. In order not to break their friendship, the two friends agree that, each would try his very best to win Ahoufe Patri’s heart and whoever succeeds in doing so, gets to keep her. The struggle then begins from there and they go beyond their limits to win Ahoufe. So who gets to win her? Majid or Kalybos? That’s something you and I would find out at the premiere.
The movie is charged with A-list actors and actresses as well. Interestingly, there’s John Dumelo in there, there’s Emelia Brobbey, Roselyn Ngissah, Apostle John Prah, the Kumawood sensation, Dabo Umar Krepp, Salma Munin, Boga Gh, Kobi Rana, Grace Nortey, Jackson Davis and the actress you feel you’ve never seen her in a movie before, Moesha Boduong, my celebrity crush.
You wouldn’t want to miss a movie that blends both the Glamour actors/actresses and also our Kumawood actors/actress. One actor, I am dying to watch him in this movie is Dabo. Dude is really funny. The movie will premiere on the 26th March, 2016 and tickets are selling at a cool ghc40 at the Accra mall and West Hills Mall.
