9 Ghanaians tested for the deadly Coronavirus proves negative – Ministry of Health

Fear and panic gripped Ghanaians this morning when it was reported that 2 suspected cases of deadly coronavirus have been recorded at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday, February 5, 2020.

Well, there’s good news as the Ministry of Health has released a statement in relation to the earlier reported case.

According to the statement released by the MOH, there have been nine suspected cases of the Coronavirus in Ghana but all of them have tested negative.

“As at 6th February 2020, there has been 28,280 confirmed cases and 565 deaths globally. Here in Ghana, we have recorded nine suspected cases including the recent two from Korle bu Teaching Hospital. All of these cases have tested negative,” the statement read.

With this, Ghanaians can heave a sigh of relief as all these cases have tested negative, although we must still be on guard.
