Aaron Finch is an Australian international cricketer who holds the record for two of the three highest individual scores in Twenty20 Internationals (T20I). Aaron Finch Biography
Before getting to the highest level, Finch played at Colac West Cricket Club in the Colac and District Association as a wicket-keeper. He finally got the opportunity to become a regular player in the Victoria side in the 2009/10 season. Here, he hit his maiden first-class cricket century against Tasmania at the Melbourne Cricket Ground of 212 runs for the third wicket. He also scored 154 runs at the Gabba against Queensland, a new highest score in October 2012. Finch became the Big Bash League player of the year in 2012 and also became the first player to score 1,000 runs in the Big Bash in December 2015.
Aaron Finch International Career
Finch made his international debut for Australia in a T20I against England in January 2011 then against Sri Lanka in One Day International (ODI). He was the first player to score 150 runs in a T20I innings and was awarded the Men’s T20I Player of the Year at the Allan Border Medal ceremony by Cricket Australia in 2014.
Finch has also played for a lot of teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In 2010, he was selected by Rajasthan Royals. He also played two seasons for the Delhi Daredevils. Finch played for a number of teams before being bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the 2020 season.
