Former captain of the Black Stars, Abedi Ayew Pele has been voted the 4th best African player of all time by French football magazine

The father of current Black Stars captain Dede Ayew and Crystal Palace most influential player for 2020 season, Dede Ayew was one of the pioneers of African football in Europe. He was one of the first great African players to make an impact on European club football.

He was ranked alongside Liberia’s George Weah, Cameroon duo Samuel Eto’o and Roger Milla leaped-frog Pele to occupy the 1st – 3rd position on the list.
