Accra, Tema And Kumasi Are Now Epicentres of Coronavirus In Ghana – Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has identified, Accra, Tema and Kumasi in the Ashanti Region as the epicentres of the Coronavirus in Ghana.

At a press briefing in Accra Tuesday, the Minister of Health, Mr Kwaku Agyeman Manu said: “What we have identified so far in Ghana now, we may have, we can describe three areas in Ghana as our own epicentres, Accra and Tema together and Kumasi.”

“We have adequate room in Accra… to actually take care of all those who have tested positive at the moment. But going forward, a team is going around identifying places that we can use for isolation for case management, not only in Accra.

As a reminder, Ghana has recorded an additional 25 cases of coronavirus today. This brings the number to 52. According to information available to this portal, 1,030 people were quarantined from the airport since last two days.
