Sarkodie’s major international collaboration 5 years ago with American star Ace Hood on the song ‘New Guy’ generated lots of controversies back then and it seems, it’s all coming up again, especially after Ace Hood unfollowed him on Instagram recently.
In an interview five years ago, when Sarkodie was asked how he was able to land the collaboration with Ace Hood, he stated in that interview on Star Fm that, it was Ace Hood who reached out to his team.
You would recall that, even after that interview, there were reports that Ace Hood had implied that, Sarkodie paid $25,000 for the feature.
Well, Sarkodie has been known for bragging and some Ghanaians on Twitter won’t let the matter rest.
In a fresh Tweet, one Ghanaian tweeted that video interview of Sarkodie claiming Ace Hood was the one who reached out and with Ace tagged in the tweet, he responded to the Tweet, definitely after watching the video too.
His response to Sarkodie’s claim was simple:” It’s a lie smh. But I wish him well”
The fact that he added, “smh” (Shaking My Head”) to it suggests that, he’s pissed off that Sarkodie would say something like this thinking he would never found out.
We need to ask Sarkodie some questions again—Perhaps his agent told him a lie too or that he lied about the whole deal
A lie smh. But I wish him well!
