Adam Rich, an American actor best known for playing Nicholas Bradford, the youngest son on the five-season television series Eight Is Enough, was born on October 12, 1968. (1977–1981).

Rich reportedly passed away on Saturday at his Los Angeles home, and a law enforcement source reportedly told TMZ that there was no foul play involved in his passing. A request for response from PEOPLE was not immediately answered by Rich’s representatives. He gained the moniker “America’s little brother” thanks to his role on the show.

As a young actor, Rich grew up with his parents and little brother in Granada Hills, California. He participated in a variety of sports, such as baseball, football, skating, and swimming. Additionally, he enjoyed drawing.

While Rich is best known role on “Eight Is Enough,” he also appeared on several TV shows and assorted TV movies throughout the late ’70s and ’80s. Some of those credits include “Fantasy Island,” “CHiPs,” “Small Wonder,” and a voice role on the animated series “Dungeons & Dragons.”

Rich’s last TV credit was an episode in “Baywatch” in 1993, before stepping away from on-camera appearances for ten years.
