Gabby Otchere-Darko of Danquah Institute fame has called for the proposal of a bill to criminalize adultery.
His comments come at the back of the conversation around the criminalization of the controversial LGBT+ bill presented to parliament for approval.
And to the best knowledge of Gabby, adultery is as sin as anything gay, therefore, adultery should be criminalized.
In his opinion since Ghanaians are parading themselves as a staunch Christian country with cherished Christian values, adultery which is a crime punishable by death according to the Bible should also be criminalized by the law.
See the post below:
Majority of Ghanaians are Christians. They believe in upholding Christian values. Adultery is a serious sin punishable by death (Lev. 20:10). I am therefore proposing a petition to Parliament for a Private Member’s Bill for a law against adultery, imposing stiff penalties.
