What’s in a name? To many artists, that’s a loaded question. Most will say it’s not the name that matters but the quality of the product is more important. However, others consider the name to be the most important.

But whatever the case, we can’t overrule the fact that the changing of a name places a public figure in the spotlight in an instant. This is because most Ghanaian musicians not excluding Shatta Wale to some extent had his breakthrough after changing his stage name – Bandana to Shatta Wale.

Barely 18 years of doing active music especially in the area of real rap , Quata Budukusu from today wants to be called “Budukusu“. A check on his official social media pages see the artist getting rid of “Quata” whiles maintaining the other name, “Budukusu”.
