Gratitude they say is the best attitude but Africans especially Ghanaians rarely practice what’s termed as the best. Again, the true character of a man is known when given power or money. Yes!, boys in Agona Swedru are pissed off and are ready to disown the crooner of ‘One Corner‘ over his ungrateful attitude.

According to a resource person who stays in the same neighborhood with Patapaa Amisty, the boys who supported Patapaa’s shoddy music career have been dumped by the artiste after becoming Ghana’s darling artiste.

“On September 16, 2017 Patapaa was booked to perform at TV3 popular Music Music show. Prior to that, the Swedru boys had vowed to use their last penny to rally behind Patapaa at every platform he will mount. Therefore, we hired a Sprinter bus to TV3 just to support Patapaa’s performance on the day. Sadly, Patapaa couldn’t say thank you to the guys who came to support him on the day after returning to Agona Swedru”, he told Adu Sarpeah of GHBase.Com

Also, he recounted how Patapaa showed the highest form of ingrate to the producer of ‘One Corner’ song known as Mr. Loyalty. To him, Mr. Loyalty recorded the ‘One Corner’ song for a fee of GH¢40. However, Patapaa was able to pay GH¢20 at a go and promised to pay the remaining amount when he gets money. To God be the glory, the song became an instant  hit but Patapaa has failed to do the needful thing by settling his recording debt.

The Agona Swedru resident who spoke to Adu Sarpeah (blogger at GHBase.Com) posited that, the area boys who vowed to support Patapaa have now denounced the artiste because of his failure to appreciate their efforts. According to him, Patapaa is not only ingrate but stingy as well. He sensed that doom awaits Patapaa Amisty’s music career if he fails to change from his ungrateful attitude towards the Agona Swedru boys because they masterminded the popularity of ‘One Corner’ song.
