The family of South African rapper, AKA has announced the date for the burial of their deceased family member on the 17th of February, 2023.
A few days ago, it was reported that AKA, real name is Kiernan Forbes was shot in the head by an unknown assailant in Durban in front of a restaurant.

According to reports, AKA was shot an hour after sharing a video of himself on his social media page. It was believed that AKA was supposed to perform at his birthday party on Friday.
However, he was accosted by unknown gunmen who shot him in his dead in what appears to be a hit, outside a restaurant on Florida Road. The event was however canceled due to the death of the rapper.
According to a first responder at the scene, who spoke on condition of anonymity, Forbes was shot while standing on the pavement when gunfire rang out.
“I can confirm that two men were killed and one of them is a well-known rapper. Police will not be releasing any names of the victims yet until a full investigation is completed” he said.
