Akua Donkor is bent on antagonising her former friend, John Dramani Mahama from ascending the highest of the land once again after she filed a petition at the supreme court asking the court to dismiss the case filed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) challenging the authenticity of the December 7 polls.

The founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) asserted that the election was free and fair for which reason John Dramani Mahama and his NDC have no issue at all. Akua Donkor further said the election turned out well and wasn’t fraught with any of the anomalies the NDC have cited after they officially began legal process to challenge the presidential results at the Supreme Court.

In two a paged-letter she addressed to the Supreme Court, Madam Akua Donkor wrote;

The main motive being that, the declaration of Presidency during the general election on the 9th day of December 2020 by Mrs. Jean Mensa was clear and true just because I, Hon. Akua Donkor the flagbearer of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) even declared the winner being his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo on Tuesday the 8th of December, 2020 before Mrs. Jean Mensa came to announce to the general public.

She further added;

NDC Party is just throwing stones in the eyes of Ghanaians.
