It’s just a day to the climax of the 20th edition of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which will be held at the Accra International Conference Center and tensions are still high as to who wins what on the night.
While many have tipped Kaumi Eugene to wing bug on the night, other musicians have plans as well.
Stonebwoy before the VGMA Experience Concert held last week organised a voting party for his Bhim fans and as expected many turned out at the party to vote for their mentor. It is rumoured that about GHC50,000 worth of airtime was exhausted at the event.
His rival, Shatta Wale on the other hand is also expecting to win big on the night as he recently revealed in a Facebook post that he’s expecting to win Artist of the Decade award but it seems it is not the only prestigious award he’s eyeing as he has hinted that if he does win an award in the upcoming VGMA, it would be dedicated to Bulldog.
It would be recalled that controversial artiste, Shatta Wale’s nomination was endorsed by his former manager and friend Bulldog who took to Facebook to share is pride in Shatta Wale’s progress so far.
He even likened Shatta Wale’s comeback into the music industry about 7 years ago to Jesus Christ and a host of other great people who has done marvellously well in their chosen fields across the globe.
According to Bulldog, born Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, Shatta Wale should be crowned as the Artiste Of The Decade at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) discouraging the other contenders of this category to wait for another decade.
