All The Celebrities & Pictures From “I DO” Movie Premiere At The West Hills Mall | Kafui, Jasmine, Van Vicker, Prince David, Nana Ama Mcbrown & More

The much-awaited movie produced by the ever-sexy and rising Kafui Danku and directed by Kobi Rana; “I DO” was premiered on the 6th of March 2015 at the Silverbird Cinemas in West Hills Mall and Accra Mall.  Starring in the movie were big screen players like Van Vicker, Kafui Danku, Jasmine Baroudi, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Roselyn Nziggah. Elikem Kumordzie, Mawuli Gavor and the ladies’ man, Jose Tolbert.  The movie had a good hype and the turnout was massive.

We at Ghbase.com got to the West hills mall earlier to experience the atmosphere and expectations of the numerous people who couldn’t wait to watch the much anticipated movie from abc pictures. Just about some few minutes after the cinema hall gates were opened for the first showing of the movie, the halls were full.

The red carpet session was just superb with the stars looking glamorous: the ladies wearing the same African print but each with their own unique design to it. The men also wore African prints, registering their the love for African Traditional wear. We must commend all the Cast of the movie for wearing African prints to the premiere, it sent a strong signal, that they loved their culture.

“I do” which is still showing in the cinemas at the Accra mall and West hills mall is very interesting, with comic scenes that will get your ribs cracking. The movie is not just a funny one, but also one that lingers on the meaning of saying that you love someone. When you stand before the alter and make all of those promises and say “I DO” you must mean every character in the phrase.

Four young men, who have been friends since childhood made a promise to get married on the same day, and have their honeymon at the same place. After getting marrried, the situation is even more complex and issues spring up. They all had to choose to either make up or break up within 24 hours. A woman wanted to take her life, so she does not infect his newly wedded husband with HIV/AIDS. A lesbian had to make a choice between choosing her lesbian partner or new husband for life.  A rich young man, falls in love with a prostitu*te and a man who has a m******on problem. What choices would they make? Did love overcome it all?  I bet you are more anxious now to know what happens.

The movie was directed by Kobi Rana and produced by Kafui Danku. It’s one of those movies that broke cinema records and will forever be etched in the memories of all those who watched. The movie had to be shown three times, just so everyone could watch it that day before going home.

In a survey conducted by Ghbase.com after the premier, all who had come to watch the movie left with smiles poking their lips, everyone was talking about their favorite scene in the movie and  the feedback was great. Almost everyone told us that, they would always come again if another movie comes from the camp of ABC Pictures.

Ghbase.com took some pictures from the premiere. Most of the A-List actors and actresses were all at the premiere. See the photos below:
