‘Alpha Hour is making our ladies more stressed; they close late from work, stay awake for prayers, do house chores and prepare kids for school’ – Kofi Ofosu Nkansah

Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, a Ghanaian politician, has angered Alpha Hour listeners with his opinion on how it contributes to women’s stress.

With his comments that Hour Alpha adds more stress to women’s lives, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has enraged Alpha Hour supporters.

He said on Facebook that women come home late from work but have to stay up and join Alpha Hour and pray starting from 12am everyday.

They then get up to do housework and get their children ready for school, and the cycle continues. As expected, this stance has earned him harsh criticism from Apharians.

As a reminder, Alpha Hour is a daily one-hour prayer session that is held by the ministry of Pastor Agyemang Elvis and has been characterized by people giving testimonies for receiving answers to their prayers.
