Ace radio presenter and disc jockey Andy Dosty has said he does not understand why Gyedu – Blay Ambolley will have the guts to dare Okyeame Kwame to proceed to court after the veteran highlife musician failed to provide evidence to his claim that the rapper received GHC 50,000 from the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
Ambolley had stated without any equivocation on 3FM that Okyeame Kwame was given Ghc 50,000 by the President of MUSIGA from the GHC 2m fiscal budget money which was given to the union by the government in 2012 at the time as a loan which the money has not been repaid.
His comment triggered reactions from Okyeame Kwame who asked him to retract and apologies or face them in court, stressing that the allegations are unfounded.
His lawyers, therefore, asked that Mr Ambolley withdraw the defamatory statements that he made against their client using the same medium that he used to make the statements within 72 hours of receipt of the letter.
The lawyers of Okyeame Kwame went on to state that the statements of Ambolley has put their client in a “bad light and lowered his images in the minds of right meaning Ghanaians.”
Ambolley responded that he needed more time to retract and after some days dared Okyeame Kwame to go to court claiming that he has evidence to back his allegation when he’s invited by the court.
His unbowed stance seems to have led Andy Dosty puzzled as the radio personality wondered how Ambolley is exhibiting such bravery.
“Is Ambolley still running his mouth? what evidence does he have? he asked.
In development, Ben Brako has sued Ambolley and Media General, owners of 3FM over MUSIGA money allegations.
