In a statement, Angie Oeh’s Manager made an announcement that confirmed that On Saturday, the Rapper passed away.
“Angelique Greeff, aka Angie Oeh, was admitted to Life Wilgers hospital in Pretoria on Sunday 13 August where she was pronounced dead at 17:24 on Saturday 19 August.”
“She was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer on Monday 14 August 2023 and after an emergency operation on Tuesday 15 August, she started chemotherapy the following Thursday.”
Her death sparked reactions from many music lovers as well as sympathisers who took to their social media platforms to send some emotional tributes to her.
Her PR manager Louise Crouse in reaction to her death reports told News24 that they are “shattered and devastated” by Greeff’s passing
“It is very sad and very terrible to lose Angie at such a young age,” said Wynand Myburgh aka Valkie van Coke – Angie’s manager and friend. “Those who met her or have worked with her will know how wonderful and special she was.
“We are not only losing a South African gem, but also a very special friend and partner.”

Angie Oeh actually died on Saturday following a Stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis.
Her death took place at the Life Wilgers Hospital in Pretoria where she was receiving treatment and hoping to be fine.
Angie had earlier announced that she was suffering from cancer disease. The journey to her sad death started During the early hours of Sunday morning when she was admitted to the hospital after her pain became unbearable. On Monday, her cancer diagnosis was confirmed.
In a recent Instagram post, Angie knew things would go on to be a difficult one for her and she expressed that she needed an amount of R200 000 for medical expenses and appealed for help. A BackaBuddy campaign was created and has accumulated over R278 000 in donations.
Her manager in the announcement stated that everything was done possibly to save her life. “Everything possible was done to stabilize her, but unfortunately, things just didn’t get any better and her organs began to fail.”
