Nigerian musician Frank Ifeanyi Dons, known by his stage name as Anyidons has modestly repaid a woman who sold akara, bread and yam to him on credit when he had nothing years ago.
The Highlife musician surprised the woman on his birthday as he stormed her shop together with his friends to shower him with wads of naira notes.
Sharing the video online, Anyidons wrote;
My birthday story won’t be complete if I had failed to put a smile on this woman’s face who was there for me and my friend back then in 2012/2013.
As she was there for me and my friends wen we all were living in one room learning studio productions.
Our biggest challenge then was feeding cuz Sapa was seriously dealing with us. There was no money & solution to the hunger until we met this woman who sells beans ball(Akara, bread & Yam), wen the hunger became very unbearable we ran to this woman & begged her to be allowing us to be taking Akara & bread on credit and she agreed and became our savior at that time.
We could owe her for 20days to 1month and she will still give us food whenever we came asking for more like Oliver Twist.
Today I decided to visit her to check on her cuz she is a legend , a good woman with a good heart. This is little compared to what is coming cuz she deserves every love she’s gonna get from all of Us. Still the birthday boy and may God bless all the Ichakanations all over the world.
