The Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) has asked Ghanaian veteran actor, Kofi Adjorlolo to render an apology for saying Ghanaian Movie Producers owe him several monies.
According to a statement from FIPAG, they have not been brought to the known issues with regards to the issue raised by the Ghanaian actor.
“FIPAG has never received any of such complaints from him nor ever had the opportunity to learn it from any quarters. It is however mind-boggling as to why he behaved the way he did in the said interview with his failure to back his claims with any tangible fact”.
“FIPAG hereby deems it fit for him to render an unqualified apology to film producers and the industry within fourteen (14) days. Failure to do so would see the Association advice itself on his status and position in the film industry”.
In a video that went viral a few days ago, Kofi Adjorlolo who was visibly infuriated ranted about how movie producers have refused to pay him monies they owe him despite all efforts to get his money from them.
Kofi Adjorlolo indicated in the viral video that after he finished starring in productions, the movie producers did not even bother to pay him.
He indicated that even with new actors and actresses, they do not get paid for jobs they do, adding that some of these people do it for the love of acting.
According to him, he quit his broadcasting career after 17 years to venture into acting, only for movie producers to engage him without fulfilling their parts of the deal.
He debunked claims by google that suggests he is $800,000 rich indicating that he is owed by producers who have been using for movie roles.
