The ongoing 2022 African Cup Of Nations is one full of many surprises as some favorite nations are not delivering up to expectations.
As the last match fixture for today January 14th came to an end with the Black Stars of Ghana drawing points with the Gabon National team, a lot of Ghanaians got disappointed in the final results.
Ghana took the lead in the 18th minute of the game with the skipper Dede Ayew scoring a fantastic goal for his side. However, Ghanaians were taken by surprise when Jim Allevinah hit a precise shot to get his side leveled in the game.
A couple of Ghanaian netizens got disappointed hence took to social media, reacting to the loss and apologizing to Asamoah Gyan that he will be one of the best strikers the country has ever produced hence he should forgive Ghanaians in case anyone ever offended him with any form of ill words.
Most people also eulogized Asamoah Gyan especially in this period saying he is one player who comes to the rescue of the Ghanaian National team in dire times of need for a goal and the country is always appreciative of that.
Below are a few tweets from some Ghanaians after the match:
