In 2018, Bisa Kdei released a single titled “Asew” which featured in Netflix’s “Jingle Jangle” last year. Although it was not appreciated much in Ghana, many foreign lisetners gave it a great deal of attention.

“Asew is my biggest song, it didn’t receive much attention in Ghana but outside, it’s on like 49,000 playlists on Spotify. That song has made waves in places that I never imagined,” he disclosed.

In an interview with Zion Feliz, the thick-skinned musician said, “If you weren’t happy for me, then it’s up to you because it is a win for Ghana. The love that was coming from Ghana and the rest of Africa, the celebration was amazing. The movie (Jingle Jangle) went viral and topped charts, it was big.”

The highlife artiste is popularly known in Ghana for his hits such as  “Metanfo”, “Odo Carpenter”, “Mansa” and many others, “Asew” was the song that gave him the breakthrough he needed.
