Shatta Wale certainly has something to brag about after his famous international collaboration with R&B superstar Beyonce won the best collaboration of the year award at the 2020 BreakTudo Awards.
BreakTudo Awards is the first Brazilian award to award a K-pop group and is one of the biggest awards shows in Brazil. The awards honor the year’s biggest achievements in music, film, television and Brazilian internet, voting takes place over the internet.
‘Already’ is a song by American singer Beyoncé, Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale and Jamaican-American trio Major Lazer from the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift and featured in the 2020 film Black Is King.
Beyoncé shared the news on her Twitter account saying, ‘Beyonce, Shatta Wale, and Major Lazer have won their first-ever award for “ALREADY”. It has won “Collaboration of the Year” at the 2020 BreakTudo Awards! Congratulations to everyone involved!
