Ghanaian Highlife artist Akwaboah has said that sensational musician Black Sherif is a highlife artist who should be projected globally.

Akwaboah is of the opinion that when Black Sherif sings, you hear some element of highlife in his song, and even how he performs his songs portrays the music genre.
“When you listen to the way he [Black Sherif] sings and everything, it is evident he is a Highlife artiste, but he has been pushed to Hiphop”.

Akwaboah says that Black Sheirf will be able to sell the highlife genre on the global market looking at how he has been accepted worldwide and is putting Ghana in the global music space.
