Ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifier against minnows Zimbabwe, Black Stars players Daniel Amartey and Thomas Partey have been seen having fun in a boxing ring.

While at it, defender Baba Rahman acted as the referee and it appears the players are downplaying the tension that hovers around this important match on the heels of the abysmal performance they put up in South Africa under former manager CK Akunnor.

Meanwhile, the team has departed Accra around 9:30 am and arrived in the Central Regional Capital at midday.

Coach Milovan Rajevac’s team will train at the Cape Coast Stadium at 4 pm.

Ghana is scheduled to play the Warriors of Zimbabwe in a doubleheader with the 1st leg set for the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
