The owners of Joy Industries are currently chasing legendary artist Daddy Lumba over a deal they had together which he failed to honor his own part.
According to the owner of Joy Daddy industries, the company had an agreement with Daddy Lumba and gave him a customized Tundra vehicle as one of the incentives for the deal but did not do his part of the deal.
Speaking about the incident, one of its Chief Executive Officers(CEOs) disclosed how some of the celebrities have portrayed ungratefulness and selfishness in their dealings with companies and brand owners.
In a video that has been spotted online, the Chief Executive disclosed how Joy Industries supported a lot of artists and other celebrities in the country during the crisis but they turn out to be ungrateful to them.
We have helped celebrities when they were in crisis. But none of them has decided to help us push any of our brands. When celebrities were struggling, we used them for shows in order for them to get money.
“Now when you introduce your brand and you ask them to post on their social media, they will ask for a contract. Now that economies the world over are struggling, they do not agree to support us also.”
“We customized a Tundra and paid Daddy Lumba but he never performed at half of the shows we earmarked for him. Tell him to bring our customized Tundra back,” he said.
