After Bulldog expressed concern that Shatta Wale’s new album would not be as successful as Black Sherif, the two engaged in a verbal sparring match.
Bulldog (real name Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson) claims that upcoming albums by Sarkodie (‘Jamz’) and Shatta Wale (‘Gift of God’) won’t have the same level of streaming success as Black Sherif’s (‘The Villain I Never Was’).
He went on Hitz FM and said that Shatta and Sarkodie would not have as many listeners as the ‘Kweku The Traveller’ singer since they are not registered to a major international record company.
However, Shatta Wale did not like the comment and answered in a foul manner.
“Eeerrrhhh if Blacko’s album will do better than us kwraaa, we like, and we hear …at the end of the day Ghana wins … F**lish people …”
He went on to further attack Bulldog saying, “all be money matter – you too find something to do and stop that nonsense… MAKE MONEY in your own way.”
Reacting to the ongoing brouhaha from the camp of Shatta Wale and Bulldog, a self-styled man of God in the person of Evangelist Suro Nyame preaching in the streets of Kumasi didn’t hesitate to label Bulldog as wizard and evil for hating on Shatta.
