RuffTown Records CEO Ricky Nana Agyeman aka Bullet has debunked reports that he took money from Fantana’s mom before agreeing to sign her to his record label.
From what was heard, Bullet allegedly had a lengthy talk with Fantana’s mother before agreeing on an amount to be brought for the deal to go through.
This was confirmed by Fantana during a recent interview with ZionFelix on the UnCut Show.
The ‘So What’ singer in the interview stated that although she is signed to RuffTown Records, she is managed by a different outfit called Blown GH.
She also stated that her mum who is her sole financier and part of her management team gave Bullet money to pump into her career.
Bullet reacting to the report after news went viral that Fantana has been sacked from Rufftown records touched on the allegation that he took money before he signed Fantana.
He explained that contrary to the popular assertion that he was given money to push Fantana, it is not true.
According to Bullet, he even started spending on the ‘Girls hate on girls’ singer before he brought her into the media space.
“Nobody gave me money, I started spending on Fantana before I brought her to the media. She should swear by any gods if they gave me money to manage her,” he told Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda.
Meanwhile, Bullet has also dispelled rumours that Fantana has left Rufttown Records. Read the full gist here.
