It is obvious banks and special deposit-taking institutions are ready to take their security seriously especially when they are transporting cash from one location to the other.

This is as a result of the killing of a young police officer who was on escort duty on a makeshift bullion van last week by armed robbers at Jamestown in the full glare of the public. A woman was also a casualty.

Concerns were raised over the security situation in the country with the IGP, James Oppong-Boanuh stating that he will not deploy his men to provide escort duty to banks if they do not have a bullion van (in the true sense of the word).

Well, our eyes have captured a situation where these banks, although they have not yet bought the bullion vans are very much concerned about their security even more.

The photo showed what looked like a bullion van and was been escorted by armed military men to ensure utmost security and safety. This clearly shows how the banks are ready to guard their money and also protect the lives of those involved.
