Carlos Ahenkorah Justifies Why He Was Roaming With His COVID-19 Positive Status

The Deputy Minister for Trade And Industries, Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah has justified and cleared the air on why he was able to roam with his COVID-19 status.

It was reported that the Deputy Minister was tested positive, which he admitted in an interview and said he had even visited EC registration centers with it.

This news made a lot of Ghanaians bash the minister and register their displeasure about how the minister went about things, knowing very well he was positive.

The Honorable minister in a recent interview on Citi Fm’s Eye Witness said yes he had indeed tested positive but was asymptomatic meaning he couldn’t spread the disease.

The World Health Organization not long ago came out with a research that COVID-19 patients who are asymptomatic are less likely to spread the disease.

This is even said to be the reason why Ghana’s recovery cases escalated to over 10,000 because the government thought it wise to let these patients go since they can’t spread the disease.

Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah probably with this in mind found it not threatening to mingle with others since he asymptomatic and can’t spread the disease.
