Carson James Wentz is a quarterback in the National Football League who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.

He played varsity football for North Dakota State University. In his redshirt rookie year, Wentz was a backup quarterback.
His first college start was against Big 12 FCS team Iowa State. He led the Bison to a 34-14 win, possibly the best game in school history. As starting quarterback, he won his first FCS crown.

Wentz debuted against the Cleveland Browns. He started until an ACL injury ended his 2017 season.
