A report filed by GhanaFeed has it that one Felix Abagi, a health practitioner from Abura Asebu Kwamankese in the Central Region has committed suicide.

He was reportedly discovered hanging on a rope on Monday morning by neighbours who came to his room after a strong odour emanated from his room. They discovered his lifeless body hanging in his room when they broke in although they also suspected he drank poison.

The website further suggested a substance that gave that indication (that he took poison) was found close to his corpse. Residents said he was last seen on Thursday after leaving the Abura Dunkwa Government Hospital’s Department of Pharmacy.

The deceased’s body has consequently been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Mortuary, where an autopsy will be carried out, awaiting further investigation from the police.
