CEO of Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade who is obviously yet to recover from the devastating blow Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale inflicted on her and her outfit after they marred the last edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, has stated that it’s now time to tilt the attention to other artists.
Madam Theresa believes other artists are doing so well which need to be highlighted but we tend to put all the attention on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy which ultimately doesn’t augur well for the industry.
In an interaction with the media ahead of this year’s VGMAS, Theresa Ayoade said:
“Can we go back to doing what we do best which is reporting about the industry and what’s happening in the industry? Let the positives shine through all the time, please, the stories shouldn’t always be on Stonebwoy and Shatta wale; there are other positive stuff happening, let’s put the spotlight on other musicians too. Let’s also give those positive stories also that much attention.”
“It’s our industry. Sometimes it gets so frustrating and all you hear is negativity. Say ‘this didn’t work right but this was good’. Mix the positives and the negatives; not just the negatives all the time,” she added.
