“Cheap Slay Queens Leading #FixTheCountry Campaign Because NPP Big Men Don’t Pay” – Kennedy Agyapong Speaks

Kennedy Agyapong says the #FixTheCountry virtual protest is being headlined by cheap slay queens who have gone broke under the NPP because the ‘big men’ in the party don’t spend on them.

Speaking on Net2 TV, he said unlike the NDC who used to spend the country’s money on these slay queens, the NPP has refused to do that and are rather investing the money into profitable ventures.

“The fix yourself campaign is been led by slay queens who say the men in the NPP don’t pay. Why should I pay such monies to you? Whilst, I’m sitting here I’ve a lot on my mind I want to do so why will I waste my money on you? They are even cheap too, they sit in planes and display their Gucci bags,” he said.

As a reminder, the #FixTheCountry hashtag has dominated headlines in the past week. This is been advanced by disgruntled Ghanaians – mostly youth who says their leaders have failed them.

This movement, which has gained support from all quarters of the political divide, led to resolve for some protests on the streets of Accra on May 9 although the protest didn’t come off due to injunction.
