Chef Lentswe Bhengu is a celebrity chef and TV host. Lentswe Bhengu, who was born in KwaZulu Natal, began his career in corporate before quitting to pursue his passion for cooking.
He enrolled at The Culinary Academy in the Cape Winelands in 2010. He quickly rose through the ranks after graduation and established himself in the culinary scene.

Bhengu has appeared on several food shows, including The Great SA Bake Off (as a presenter), Flava Queens (as a host), and Cheeky Palate.
His family confirmed his passing through a statement on Wednesday. “It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the untimely passing of our beloved son and brother, Lentswe Bhengu-Mafoko fondly known to the media and his culinary family as Chef Lentswe.”

Lentswe suffered a short illness and passed away last night, 28 February 2023 at Sandton Medi-Clinic.

Bhengu was reported to be a homosexual. His boyfriend once sent a message on social media to mark his birthday writing;
