The player who was snubbed by Brazilian National team boss in his Copa America squad was in Israel for holidays.
Whiles in the birthplace of Christ Jesus, he got himself baptized in the river where Christ himself is believed to have been baptized.
The Chelsea attacker shared images of his River Jordan baptism to his followers on Instagram with the caption;
“Joy in reaffirming my baptism, in a place that I consider extremely important. Jordan river!”
However, he has been called to the National team after Neymar’s injury ruled him out. Sharing the news on Instagram he wrote: “It is a pleasure to wear the national team shirt once again and represent my country ?? ⠀⠀
