Chris Handler, Shatta Wale, Salma, Okoro, Sarkodie & More Nominated In 2016 City People Entertainment Awards

Let me start with mine first before I even talk about our celebrities. I am no celebrity but my work as an entertainment blogger makes me a celebrity blogger too because I write about celebrities and entertainment in general. If you are one of the few people who have been following me keenly on Social Media, then you would admit that I write from Celebrity news and gossips, movie updates, opinions related to entertainment and even other PR related articles for brands.

My name is Chris Handler and I am excited to tell you that, we’ve earned a nomination at the City People Entertainment Awards which is held every year. I was nominated in the Showbiz Blogger/Online Writer Of The Year Category with other top notch bloggers in the country. It’s refreshing to get nominated in an award scheme organised by Nigerians.

I was at the City People Entertainment Awards last year, and I had the chance to interact with the media there and some of their celebrities. It was a beautiful experience since it was my first time in Nigeria. The experiences and all the wahala the Nigerian police made me go through would be a story to tell another time. If I get to win this, I will be happy and If I don’t I would congratulate the winner. All of the guys in there are equally unique bloggers.

Now let’s move on to the other people who were nominated from Ghana. Yes, my new crush Salma Munin was nominated in the  Best Actress Of The Year Category and her movie “No Man’s Land” which had a successful premiere was also nominated. My ex crush Yvonne Okoro was also nominated in that same category. Then we have the likes of Van Vicker, John Dumelo, James Gardiner, Lil Wain , Akrobeto, Juliet Ibrahim, Kafui Danku, Shatta Wale, EL, Sarkodie & Several others getting nominations in various categories.

You can see the full list of winners below. Drop your comments on what you think of this year’s nominations. It’s almost like the same people getting nominated each time around. Well, I don’t really know what goes into the nomination process.
