From what we gather, a group of feminists on social media who pride themselves as PepperDem Ministry petitioned Huawei to do the needful by terminating their contract with the comedian because he’s a potential rapist and a negative influencer.
The feminist group we gather did not only report him to Huawei, but also to his employer, Ghana Education Service (GES) demanding his sack as well. GES after thoroughly looking into the petition by PepperDem Ministry issued a letter of caution to their employee to desist from such acts on social media else his teaching license will be revoked forever.
As a result, fans and discerning Ghanaians started calling on the comedian under scrutiny to do the needful thing by rending an unqualified apology to brands and individuals who regard his comment as offensive and uncouth.
Lo and behold, Teacher Kwadwo has come to realisation the sense in the suggestion by fans as he has taken to his Facebook page to apologise accordingly for his uncouth behaviour. He posted that;
“I am sorry for the “rape post” I made some years back. Sorry to all the brands I have worked with.
Sorry to Ghana Education Service
Sorry to my friends who didn’t like it. Nyame nsa wom?
Ahh well, now that Michael Owusu Afriyie a.k.a Teacher Kwadwo has apologised for passing the pedophilia-related comment, let’s hope for the better if Huwaei will see it relevant to rescind their decision.
