The undiluted gospel music legacy engineered by Prof. Kofi Abraham, MC Abraham, Helena Rebels, Getty & Friends, et Al has been thrown to the dogs kind courtesy the action and inaction of contemporary gospel musicians.
Majority of Ghanaian contemporary musicians don’t give a hoot about the sacred nature of the genre they represent. Citing Joyce Blessing as a case study, she has taken to social media to announce her upcoming song with Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.
According to Joyce Blessing in a post on the micro blogging platform, the upcoming song is titled “Adam Nana” and it’ll be available for public consumption on Friday, 4th October 2019.
The collaboration is not actually bad but the argument since Joyce’s post via Twitter has been how on earth should an acclaimed Gospel musician teams up with a secular musician?. The core reason, only Joyce Blessing can let the cat out of the bag.
