Content maker and her crew receive beatings from residents after their prank went wrong

Content makers often garner the framework of their content by hitting the street to prank unsuspecting people and film their spontaneous reactions.

Although some of these pranks have been very ‘expensive’ and condemnable owing to their extremity, this new crop of YouTubers and IG skitmakers continue to rely on this to serve their consumers with this form of entertainment.

For this young woman and her crew, things went south for them after residents of Ibadan where they had gone to enact their prank pulled on them and assaulted them.

The leader of the group in a selfie video said she and her boys barely started filming their prank when the people started beating them.

One of the men who was flogged also showed the cane marks on his back to prove what the lady said as they journeyed back to where they were coming from.
