Covid-19: ‘I’m Not Hungry Like Other Artistes’ – E.L

Rapper Elorm Adabla aka E.L has claimed that he not starving as some of his colleagues who have been hit hard by the devastating effect of Covid-19 are complaining.

Recently Stonebwoy and Edem complained that artistes have been put in a precarious situation owing to the pandemic, which has also somewhat exposed the weak structures of the music industry.

They both agreed that if the situation persists, then several Ghanaian artistes will go very hungry.

When E.L was quizzed by Amansan Krakye in an exclusive interview on Radio Central whether he has been gravely affected, the former VGMA Artiste of the Year winner answered in the negative.

Here’s what he said: ‘Have you heard the saying that save for the rainy days?. So the people who saved are not hungry.

People who couldn’t heed that advice will definitely find themselves broke. I always advise that as artistes we should be each other’s keeper so that in difficult times like this we can be helping ourselves.

So I hope there is no artiste in Ghana who is hungry like that because as for me I’m cool’
