Craig Doyle is an Irish television and radio presenter. To British viewers, he is recognisable as working for the BBC and ITV and more recently BT Sport.

Doyle was born on 17 December 1970 and was raised in the Dublin suburb of Stillorgan. He studied sociology and history at Maynooth, followed by the London College of Printing, where he earned a diploma in broadcast journalism.

Following college, Doyle worked for Ipswich-based BBC Radio Suffolk on local radio before moving on to ITV in 1995 to host the kids’ program Disney Club, where he was discovered after a chance encounter with a show producer while visiting Alton Towers.

He is a London Irish fan. He started his own production company, Boxer, in 2004. Ireland’s Richest, a travel and celebrity program created and hosted by Craig Doyle, was the company’s first production.

Doyle joined ITV Sport in February 2008 after being released early from his BBC contract. He took Jim Rosenthal’s place as host of the UEFA Champions League highlights on ITV. He also oversees the Isle of Man TT coverage on ITV4. At the end of 2008, Doyle departed Capital Radio.

Doyle hosted Ireland’s Top Earners in 2008, a show that John Boland subsequently described in the Irish Independent as one that came about “just as the country was sliding inexorably into economic ruin and in which Doyle swooned over the wealth that had been amassed by Seán Quinn” [now bankrupt] and that came about “just when the country was sliding inexorably into economic ruin.”

Since mid-2013, Doyle has presented Rugby Union coverage for BT Sport. Between 2015 and 2018, Doyle also hosted BT Sport’s coverage of the MotoGP.

Doyle has been a regular guest on the ITV show This Morning since November 2021, typically serving as the competition presenter. He co-hosted the program with Alison Hammond on two occasions in May 2022. During the 2022 summer break, he co-hosted This Morning with Josie Gibson, Mollie King, and Rochelle Humes. Since then, he has become a frequent relief presenter for the program.
