It’s not being an easy one for Cristiano Ronaldo these past few days, as he’s been slapped with rape allegations but his family has broken their silence on the issue by supporting the football star on Social media.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother, Maria Dolores, and sister Katia Aveiro both posted pictures of Cristiano in a Superman cape with matching messages on Facebook and Instagram, asking for Justice for Cristiano.
Cristiano Ronaldo, 33, has been accused by American model Kathryn Mayorga, 34, of raping her in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2009 but Cristiano has denied the allegation, saying it was consensual and that it’s all “fake news”
Two other women have also come out to say the football star raped them years ago and they want to press charges.
In difficult times like these, it’s important for one to have their family’s support and his mother and sister are solidly behind him.
Dolores wrote: ‘I want to see who has the courage to put this photo on their profile for a week and make a chain for him..for Portugal, for him, for us and for the union of our people, for justice. He deserves it.’
The picture of Ronaldo carried two hashtags in Portuguese. One translates as ‘#Ronaldo, we are with you to the end’ and the other – #Justicacr7 – as ‘#Justice for CR7.’
Katia’s wrote in her message: ‘I support Cristiano. This seems like a trap because there are things that don’t make sense.’
