Fujikawa was a vocalist and guitarist for the Los Angeles-based musical group Chief. Their musical journey began with the release of the EP “The Castle Is Gone” in 2009, followed by the release of their debut full-length album, “Modern Rituals,” in 2010. Unfortunately, the band decided to split up in June 2011.
Following on from his experiences with Chief, Fujikawa co-founded Lightwave Records with Chris Acosta, the frontman of The Delta Mirror, in 2013. According to their Facebook page, Lightwave Records’ purpose was to create a forum for artists to release music on their own terms.
