Burna Boy has vehemently insisted there’s no artiste richer than him in Africa including the combination of compatriots Davido and Wizkid.
The musician made the comment in an Instagram live session while answering questions from fans following his earlier declaration.
In an earlier publication shared by www.Ghbase.com, the man who affectionately calls himself AfricanGiant said he’s the highest-paid artiste to have ever emerged from Africa.
”I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my Truth but it Doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest-paid artist in the History of African music. Believe it or not,’‘ he wrote.
His controversial statement attracted opposing views and backlash from fans of other artistes, particularly from Davido and Wizkid but the Grammy award winner is still unperturbed and has even returned to muddy the water he created earlier.
During the interactive session, two fans stated that Wizkid and Davido are richer than him, he laughed over it and said they are not.
He did not hesitate to throw his weight about, saying emphatically that he is even richer than Wizkid and Davido combined.
